The Recreation Ecology Lab has benefitted tremendously from Dr. Monz's international collaborations and partnerships which have provided opportunities to work with scholars and researchers from across the world. I have had the pleasure of working with and learning from the co-authors of this paper (Aleksandra Tomczyk, Marek Eweretowski, and Franciso Javier Ancin-Murguzer) about UAVs/Drones, GIS, and remote sensing methods and analysis. I am utilizing UAVs for a chapter in my dissertation and am happy to have this article to reference and cite as an example of how new methodological approaches can help inform how we understand and manage protected area settings for recreation.
